AARP Dental Insurance:
How the plan works and what is covered: The AARP Dental Insurance Plan is a dental PPO, called Delta Dental PPO. This gives you the freedom to see any licensed dentist and change dentists without notifying Delta Dental. The Delta Dental PPO network includes over 67,000 dentist locations nationwide. While the option to see any licensed dentist is available, you make the most of your benefits if you visit one of the Delta Dental PPO dentists. These dentists are part of a select group who have agreed to provide treatment to Delta Dental PPO patients at a reduced fee. Because these fees have been prenegotiated by Delta Dental, your out of pocket expenses will likely be lower.
When visiting a Delta Dental PPO dentist, you don’t have to pay the entire bill and then wait for reimbursement from Delta Dental. Instead our portion is paid directly to the dentist. We then send a notice explaining your portion of the bill and you are expected to pay only that amount to the dentist. All claims and paperwork are handled by the Delta Dental PPO dentists.
I have been with AARP Dental Insurance for several years and I have never had to report a problem about their service. I have been going to the dentist for over 4 years since I have been covered by them. I go about every 6 to 8 months and they have covered all the expenses that they said they would. I am happy with them. I have had other policies that have tried to weasle their way out of payment, and trying to make me pay for more than I should.
I don’t like hastle, so I go with AARP Dental Insurance because the dental offices just send the bills straight to the health insurance company and I never see anything. That is very convenient for me since I used to get the bill and have to send it to my old insurance company myself.
How to Polish Silver Plate

Do you have a piece of Sterling Silver or Silver Plate that you’d like to clean and polish?
The first step in cleaning and polishing your Silver Plate is to dust and handwash your item. Silver is a very soft metal and any kind of dust or dirt can become an abrasive. Most people agree that silver should not be put in the dishwasher.
You can easily polish your silver with Jamestowne Silver Polish. Jamestowne Silver polish is safe for both antique and new silver products.
You don’t want to polish your items too often, or you will wear off the details in the silver, and can actually eat through the silver plate. Two times a year is plenty.
First, apply the Jamestowne Silver Polish directly on the item. Don’t use too much.
Two, with a soft cloth or towel, rub the polish around. The Jamestowne Antique Silver Polish should work easily, but you may need to use some elbow grease on stains and buildup. Rub in straight strokes. Using circular movements can cause you to scratch circles into the silver. Only press as hard as you need to to remove the tarnish. You don’t want to remove the silver. Rinse the object off in cold water.
Finally, take a soft clean towel or cloth and buff the object. If you are using microfiber, read the instructions on the microfiber, prior to using it on silver, as it is known to scratch.
Using these simple steps, you can clean and polish your new or antique Silver Plate with ease.
